As a person with a keen interest in Fantasy Football, both NFL and regular football, I’m always after a way to try and nail a surprise high score, or eek out a little value.

Last night, after getting annoyed at the thought of seeing Vick either get battered by the Cowboys, ruining my fantasy week, or batter the Cowboys, ruining my NFL week, I decided to look for some extra value from the Waiver Wire. Palmer/Fitzpatrick were my two obvious go to guys, but then stumbled on the Thursday Night Football game..

Could I play Blaine Gabbert? I do love having someone in the early game..

Plus, he’s got thirty points in the last two games, all his receivers are fit, Blackmon’s got his first TD, the Colts D hasn’t restricted a QB to single digit points.
